Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, overnight shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating weekends, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients.
- Conduct regular safety checks and monitor client behavior.
- Assist with client supervision, belongings, and contraband checks.
- Support clients in achieving treatment goals through engagement and group facilitation.
- Document observations and client interactions accurately and promptly.
- Apply de-escalation techniques and report significant changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and incident reporting.
- Facilitate or support recreational and therapeutic activities.
- Provide orientation for new clients and encourage program participation.
- Ensure safety during activities and adapt them to meet client needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and de-escalation certification (training provided upon hire).
- Experience with behavioral health, psychiatric, or dual diagnosis populations preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a psychiatric or detox setting preferred.
- Familiarity with psychiatric conditions and treatment approaches.
