- Night shift, Full-time, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to laboring patients during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Monitor fetal well-being using specialized systems, including fetal monitoring technology.
- Administer medications and utilize equipment such as EPIC Stork documentation, Centricity fetal monitoring, and Pyxis medication system.
- Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum processes.
- Collaborate with shift nurse lead and a team of approximately seven Labor and Delivery RNs to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Valid licenses and certifications: NRP, ACLS.
- Current RN license for the state of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with computerized charting and medication systems.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to busy Labor and Delivery environments.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
