Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including dress code and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Texas.
• Experience or willingness to work in a PICU setting.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Comfort with float responsibilities across units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric trauma protocols.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
