Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized pediatric intensive care to critically ill children in a hospital setting
- Float between units as needed to support patient care demands
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient treatment
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including required ratios of 1:2/3
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- PICU experience is required
- Ability to work nights and variable weekends
- Flexibility to float between units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center or children’s hospital
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with pediatric critical care equipment and procedures
