Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition.
- Administer medications and treatments adhering to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Complete assessments and participate in orientation exercises to meet clinical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
- Valid Ohio nursing license or a license from a compact state.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry patients.
- Previous exposure to hospital documentation and electronic health record systems (e.g., Lotus/Qualivis).
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
