- Full-time, travel
- Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 16-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care to trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients in a high-acuity unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech electronic health records.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, ensuring optimal staffing coverage.
- Support patients during illness, surgery, testing, and observation with a focus on safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse license or Compact license (No temp licenses accepted)
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, or 18 months with at least 1 year in a related specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in trauma, med-surg, or telemetry units
- Ability to adapt to multiple unit environments
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
