Full-time, travel, day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation hospital setting.
- Assist patients recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and other conditions, utilizing advanced skills and procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and operate specialized medical equipment such as IV pumps and specialty beds.
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system.
- Support patient and family education to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license with relevant state licensure.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in rehab, med-surg, or related fields.
- Strong clinical skills, including procedures performed on the unit such as use of IV pumps and specialty equipment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation, stroke, traumatic brain injury, or amputation cases is a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation systems, especially Meditech.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various unit needs without floating.
