• Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location
• Alamogordo, NM
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM), travel position, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
• Current RN license in the state of employment or in a compact state.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or related specialty.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in medical, surgical, respiratory, or telemetry units.
• PALS and CPI certifications are a plus.
• Ability to adapt to floating between units including Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, or other areas as needed.
