Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
- Nights, 13-week contract with possible extension
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including neurology/stroke patients
- Administer medications and IV therapies
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC electronic health record system
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies during night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Current VA or Compact nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification required
- EPIC proficiency (no exceptions)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar setting
- Travel experience required
- Valid Qualivis Cover Sheet and current NURSYS report included with application
- RTO requests noted on Qualivis Cover Sheet
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience caring for neurology/stroke patients
- Skilled in IV starts and telemetry interpretation
