Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts, rotating weekends, travel position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care for approximately 80+ deliveries per month, including antepartum, postpartum, and OR room responsibilities
- Care for newborns starting at 32 weeks gestation and ensure their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a compassionate manner
- Assist with couplet care, supporting mother and baby post-delivery
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards, including call rotation and night shift responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- Current Colorado RN license or compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- STABLE provider certification
- Proof of flu vaccination or willingness to obtain by October 31, 2025
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience in Labor and Delivery, OR, PACU, and postpartum care
- Background working in a high-volume hospital setting
- Strong teamwork and clinical expertise combined with compassionate patient care
