Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift (3pm-3am), on-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the ICU setting, including monitoring and managing critically ill patients.
• Utilize hospital equipment such as ventilators, Bipap, and EV 100s, and document patient information using EPIC electronic charting.
• Administer medications via Pyxis system and respond to patient needs with precision.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in mandatory orientation and ongoing training to adhere to departmental procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical, Surgical, and/or ICU nursing, with at least 1 year of ICU experience.
• Current Indiana or Compact RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with ICU-specific equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a critical care environment.
• Flexibility to float to other Critical Care units as needed.
