Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Monitor and document patient conditions using electronic health records, specifically EPIC
- Administer medications, including IV therapies and ventilator management
- Utilize specialized equipment such as CRRT machines, IV pumps, and cardiac monitors
- Respond to patient emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical ICU experience
- Certified in BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Competent in ventilator management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
- Experience managing multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID, and post-cardiac arrest cases
- Familiarity with specialized procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring and externalized IV pumps
