Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, on-site (day shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients across five specialized acute behavioral health units.
• Monitor and manage a diverse patient population, including children as young as 5 and geriatric adults.
• Ensure patient safety by utilizing physical restraints only when necessary.
• Collaborate with a team comprising nurses, behavioral health associates, and house supervisors to deliver quality care.
• Participate in unit float duties within the facility as needed, ensuring flexibility across shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of direct psychiatric and acute care nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification; training provided onsite.
• Ability to pass a state caregiver background check (wet signature required).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Prior experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced environments.

• Dress code: Solid-colored scrubs (maroon, grey, navy blue, or black).
• Parking: Available onsite.
• Visitor policy: Limited visiting hours in the evenings.
• Schedule: Block shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, every other weekend required. No schedule modifications permitted.
• Support staff includes trained BHAs and always-onsite house supervisors.
