Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, on-site, primarily evening shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm, Thursday - Monday)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, transfusion services, virology, and related areas.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens and reliable test results.
• Maintain compliance with all laboratory standards, policies, and procedures.
• Review and interpret test data, communicate results effectively to healthcare providers.
• Support laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and quality control.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold the laboratory's standards of excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• ASCP certification (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills, including effective listening and communication.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical activities including walking, sitting, and standing during shift.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with automated testing instruments and laboratory information systems.
• Familiarity with CAP, CLIA, AABB, and FDA regulations.
• Prior experience working in a trauma or hospital laboratory environment.
