Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient conditions, including stable chronic ventilators, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records systems.
• Float to support nursing teams across various units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must have EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before start.
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience in acute or stepdown care.
• Experience with stable chronic ventilators.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
• IV start experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience working in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers.
• Flexibility to float across multiple hospital campuses, including Dayton main campus, Centerville, and Englewood locations.

Additional Notes

• Shifts are 48 hours per week, with overtime paid after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts.
• Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
• RTO requests should be submitted with initial application; no RTO will be added after submission.
