Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient nursing care in a clinical setting, including patient assessment and vital sign collection
• Assist with procedures such as dressing changes and suture removals
• Prepare patient charts and facilitate telephone triage
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health management
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license, active in any other Providence facility or with a compact license (eligibility for travel contracts if separated for at least 3 months)
• Outpatient clinic experience, including oncology, with familiarity in ambulatory settings
• BLS certification (required)
• EPIC electronic health record system proficiency

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Oncology patient care experience, especially in breast cancer
• Suture removal skills
• Work in diverse clinic settings, including float experience to other clinics such as First Hill and Edmonds
• Knowledge of patient teaching techniques and triage procedures
