Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neuro telemetry conditions, including CVA/TIA, subdural hematomas, and seizure disorders.
• Manage post-operative recovery for surgical oncology patients, including procedures such as Whipple, esophagectomy, and colon resections.
• Care for vascular surgery patients following peripheral angiograms, PAD treatments with wounds, and below-knee amputations.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal recovery.
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed to support staffing.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Illinois RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• EPIC electronic medical records experience
• Current tele reference within the last year
• Updated resume and skills checklist
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in neuro telemetry, post-op surgical recovery, or vascular surgery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to float between units if needed
