Job Title

• Sterile Processing Technician (Night Shift)

• St. Louis, MO

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift (Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assemble case trays and sterilization packets, ensuring accuracy for complex tray configurations across various specialties.
• Support surgical teams by maintaining sterile environments in the operating room during pre, intra, and postoperative phases.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize reusable surgical equipment and supplies.
• Assist with troubleshooting and troubleshooting instrument issues as needed.
• Work collaboratively as a high-performing team member supporting multiple procedural areas and up to 72 operating rooms.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related experience in sterile processing or surgical instrumentation.
• Certification in Sterile Processing through CBSPED, CRST (HSPA/IAHCSMM), NBSTSA, NCCT, or similar.
• Active BLS certification.
• Ability to function within scope across various hospital departments, including trauma, transplant, neurosurgery, and other specialized surgical services.
• Willingness to work night shifts and support facility needs as a team member.
• Pending state licensure accepted.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Instrument Processor preferred.
• Experience supporting high-acuity, Level 1 trauma centers, or complex surgical tray management.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment supporting diverse surgical teams and procedures.
