Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Schedule / Job Type: Night shift, 15-17 week contract
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide bedside care for post-operative kidney transplant and complex patients in a PCU setting
  • Administer medications, including IV therapy, and monitor patient responses
  • Conduct frequent assessments and invasive procedures such as hemodynamic monitoring with invasive devices (e.g., Swan Ganz)
  • Manage patients with pulmonary hypertension, chest tubes, and ongoing hemodynamic support
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with all clinical protocols
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or ICU experience
  • Valid RN license in California
  • Certification in ACLS and BLS
  • Ability to perform IV starts and manage telemetry equipment
• Preferred Experience / Skills:
  • NIH certification (preferred)
  • Experience with PA lines, transvenous procedures, and invasive hemodynamic devices
  • Familiarity with complex post-op transplant cases and pulmonary hypertension management
