Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgical teams in the operating room during procedures
• Ensure sterility and proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care
• Support pre-op and post-op activities as needed
• Float to various Prisma Health units and campuses as required, performing tasks within demonstrated competencies
Required Qualifications
• Certification from NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from CSTAHA or equivalent
• 1+ year of surgical technologist experience
• Ability to work 4x10-hour days, full-time schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a hospital surgical environment
• Comfortable with call requirements and weekend shifts
• Proven ability to adapt to different hospital units and procedures
