Schedule / Job Type
- Day shift, full-time (48 hours/week preferred, minimum 36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor and postpartum periods.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in childbirth and postpartum procedures as needed.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Indiana RN license (Compact or IN state).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Ability to work 36-48 hours per week, with day shifts.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with night shift or mixed shifts for flexibility.
- Strong neonatal and maternal assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
