Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Float to NICU and Pediatric floors as needed to support patient care.
- Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain.
- Perform specialized procedures including moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Valid BCLS and PALS certifications.
- Ability to float to NICU and pediatric units.
- Must have a current RN license.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in PICU, NICU, or Pediatric units.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced environment.
