Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation and drips, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as arterial lines, central lines/CVP, and other critical interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to NICU and Peds units as needed, maintaining flexibility and expertise across pediatric units.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
• Ability to float to NICU and general Pediatric units.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS.
• Experience with patient diagnoses such as respiratory distress, DKA, seizures, and pain management.
• Skilled in procedures including moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, central lines, and CVP.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a pediatric critical care environment.
• Strong assessment and procedural skills in pediatric critical care.
