Key Responsibilities
• Circulate in the operating room, documenting patient care and surgical procedures.
• Sterile prepping of surgical sites, including site preparation and catheter insertion.
• Assist with opening sterile supplies, positioning patients for surgery, and setting up OR equipment.
• Utilize electronic documentation systems, including EPIC, for accurate record-keeping.
• Operate various surgical equipment such as cautery devices, lasers, laparoscopic tools, arthroscopy equipment, and navigation systems.
• Support multiple hospital campuses and float to different units/departments as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience in a large hospital or Level 2 or higher facility.
• Active ND or Compact RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Experience working with General, Neuro, Orthopedic, GYN, and Urology surgical cases, including navigation for Neuro/Ortho procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume OR environment.
• Must note if previously employed by Sanford Health; if yes, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neuro and orthopedic navigation systems.
• Familiarity with laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures.
• Experience supporting multiple hospital campuses with operating rooms.

Additional Notes
• Local candidates within 80 miles will receive the regular local rate, with a reduced rate for those living 60-80 miles from the facility.
• Candidates must attend to badge-in and badge-out procedures at the facility and wear provided scrubs (Ceil Blue).
• Shifts include regular 8- or 10-hour days, with one weekend of call every 6 weeks, and occasional late shifts.
• Must be flexible to float to other units/departments or campuses if needed.
