Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week assignment with rotating weekends and holidays, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Administer nursing care to an elderly patient population, including residents with dementia and behavioral health issues
• Assist with charting, medication administration, and patient assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare team during shift to ensure quality patient care
• Follow facility protocols and complete documentation on electronic medical records system
• Support behavioral management programs and patient safety initiatives
• Participate in orientation, training, and shadowing for the specific facility
Required Qualifications
• Licensed LVN / LPN in the state of South Dakota
• Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
• Knowledge of EMR systems, preferably PCC
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends/holidays as scheduled
• Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience managing elderly patients with dementia or behavioral health conditions
• Ability to handle charting, medication administration, and working in a team environment
