Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical surgical patients, including those with surgical oncology needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems such as Epic and AccuDose.
• Utilize medical equipment like bladder scanners, Phillips monitors, and telemetry devices.
• Follow established standards for patient safety, safety protocols, and infection control.
• Assume floating responsibilities across different units/departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active ND or Compact RN license; please specify in comments.
• Minimum of 1 year recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Epic experience.
• Experience working in a hospital with at least 200 beds, level 2 or higher trauma center.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Surgical oncology experience (preferred but not required).
• Experience with patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with hospital equipment such as telemetry monitors and bladder scanners.
