Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring timely and accurate assessment and treatment.
- Flexibly cover both Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department duties based on departmental needs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, including ACLS, PALS, CPR, and TNCC certifications.
- Participate in ongoing training, including mandatory sexual harassment prevention training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Emergency Room Nurse.
- Valid and current California RN license in good standing.
- Mandatory certifications: ACLS, PALS, and CPR.
- Ability to obtain TNCC certification within one year of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively at all organizational levels.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient safety procedures.

Additional Notes
All nursing staff are required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs. Temporary and agency staff are required to complete annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, with certificates collected prior to start date. This training must be completed within 30 calendar days or 100 hours of employment, as mandated by state regulations.
