Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Helena, MT

Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to medical-surgical unit patients in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Float between medical, surgical, and oncology floors as needed, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to float between units as required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Montana.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working within a float pool.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs.
