Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat individuals of all ages with medical conditions affecting mobility and daily function.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation.
- Supervise and collaborate with physical therapy assistants and aides.
- Provide care across various settings, including outpatient clinics and hospitals.
- Evaluate and modify therapy programs to promote recovery, reduce pain, and restore functional ability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina Physical Therapist license.
- Minimum of 2 years recent outpatient hospital experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work primarily days, Monday through Friday.
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience supervising therapy staff or assistants.
- Knowledge of diverse therapeutic techniques and patient care protocols.
