Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity care to patients in a 24-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit, including specialties in General Surgery, Trauma, Transplant, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care
- Manage acutely ill patients requiring complex therapies and interventions
- Administer medications and monitor dysrhythmias with proficiency
- Adhere to clinical protocols and ensure safety standards are maintained
Required Qualifications
- MA Registered Nurse license (must be active at time of submission)
- BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
- ICU and Telemetry experience in a high-acuity setting
- Epic electronic health record system experience
- Ability to pass a day 1 pass/fail skills test
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a trauma or transplant ICU environment
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and dysrhythmia management
