• Variable shifts, 13-17 week contracts, start dates available 11/3 or 11/17.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for post-operative kidney transplant patients and complex cases in a progressive care unit.
• Perform IV starts, telemonitoring, and invasive hemodynamic assessments, including use of Swan Ganz catheters.
• Administer and manage high-risk therapies such as Milrinone, Dopamine, and Dobutamine.
• Monitor patients with pulmonary hypertension and moderate to high risk for dysrhythmias, ensuring timely interventions.
• Utilize invasive devices and perform assessments every 2 hours as needed, with the capacity to manage multiple high-acuity cases.
• Administer medications and perform procedures in accordance with established protocols, maintaining a focus on patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a similar PCU or ICU setting.
• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• EKG proficiency and bedside skills including IV starts and telehealth monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH certification is preferred.
• Experience with transvenous pacemakers, chest tubes, and advanced hemodynamic devices.
• Prior experience in a large or high-acuity hospital setting.
