Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a specialized inpatient unit, including medical-surgical, progressive care, and stepdown patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and implement care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high acuity PCU or similar units.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Ability to follow strict infection control and patient safety protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience with complex medical conditions such as leukemia, BMT, and hematology.
- Familiarity with comprehensive cancer center protocols and procedures.
