Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Burlington, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, nights shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses to treatments, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and regulations.
- Perform EKGs and other assessments as required for telemetry patients.
- Float to different facilities and units as needed to support staffing needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.
- Ability to pass a required Pass/Fail EKG exam for telemetry patients.
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Ability to work night shifts and be flexible with floating assignments.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous charge nurse experience.
- Telemetry monitoring experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
