Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Zanesville, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, every other weekend, no call required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on the 4 South Cardiac unit, with occasional float to other Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and streamline patient care activities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR, accurately documenting patient care activities.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and assessments, with competency testing on day one.
• Maintain adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Active BLS certification; ACLS required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent/current experience in Telemetry or Stepdown units.
• Proven proficiency in reading Telemetry; tested for competency on day one.
• Must demonstrate Epic EMR proficiency (refresher classes or sit-in training are not acceptable).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with diverse Med-Surg patient populations.
• Ability to float between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
