Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMU, PCU, and stepdown units.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Adhere to facility protocols and documentation procedures using Epic electronic health record system.
- Float within scope to meet unit and facility needs as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Support patients during acute and recovery phases, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care units such as IMC, PCU, or stepdown.
- Epic EHR experience.
- Patient care experience with ratios of 1:4.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including every other weekend if needed.
