Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including gastric emptying, HIUDA scan, Muga scan, 3-phase, whole body bone scan, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion, and exercise/rest protocols.
• Assist in the preparation and handling of radioactive materials, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs as needed while adhering to safety and patient care standards.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team, multitasking in a fast-paced environment in both adult and nuclear cardiology settings.
• Follow all infection control and isolation precautions, including pharmacological stress tests.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties, including weekends, with varying shift start times from 5 AM to 9 AM.

Required Qualifications

• Valid IN state license in nuclear medicine or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or NMTCB certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in nuclear medicine.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult and nuclear cardiology imaging.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to varying unit needs.
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work under adult patient protocols.
