Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting.
- Assist with procedures such as UAC and UVC insertions, intubation, and other neonatal interventions.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Advocate for neonatal patients and support their families through compassionate and skilled care.
- Ensure compliance with unit policies and guidelines to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience at a Level 3 facility.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Ability to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM).
- Proficiency with neonatal monitors and isolettes.
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Experience as a transition nurse.
- Knowledge of lactation support in neonatal care.
