Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for ICU patients in a cardiac and neuro ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize advanced equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and IV pumps.
• Perform procedures including intubations and central line placements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient ICU environment with a focus on patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, preferably with neuro and medical ICU populations.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with advanced ICU procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
• Ability to work night shifts (5PM - 5AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working with cardiac and neuro patient populations.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative personality.
