Key Responsibilities
- Provide and administer nursing care to patients in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner
- Follow proper nursing procedures in accordance with hospital policies and protocols
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
- Assess patient data reflecting current status and interpret information to determine individual patient needs based on age-specific requirements
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the State of Colorado
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably Cerner
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in Medical Surgical units
- BLS Certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
