- Full-time, day shift, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub on cardiovascular operating room procedures, including open and endovascular vascular surgeries, as well as ophthalmology cases such as cataract and retina procedures
- Provide inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment with complex procedures like TCAR, AAA, carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass, atherectomy, angiogram, and AV fistula
- Document procedures accurately using Epic charting system
- Participate in weekend call rotations and holiday coverage as needed
- Perform on-call duties, averaging 15–17 shifts per month, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts
- Collaborate effectively as part of a strong team at a reputable hospital
Required Qualifications
- IL nursing license
- BLS certification
- 3–4+ years of circulating and scrub experience in CVOR or vascular surgery
- Experience with invasive, complex vascular, and ophthalmology procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting software
- Knowledge of vascular and ophthalmic surgical procedures such as TCAR, ENDO AAA, carotid endarterectomy, and AV fistula
- Ability to handle complex cases and assist with various surgical specialties

Additional Details
- Assignment duration: 12 weeks
- Shift hours: 6:30 am – 5:00 pm within 30 miles of hospital
- Call shifts paid at $10 before AV fee, with a 2-hour minimum callback; cancellation possible once every 6 weeks
- Shift schedule includes weekend call rotations and holiday coverage as needed
