Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and use modalities to help patients improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns to supervising therapists.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.
• Educate patients and family members on post-treatment care and exercises.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with outpatient or inpatient therapy environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
