Key Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures within a busy hospital setting, ensuring strict adherence to sterility and safety protocols.
• Provide support with patient care, including start IVs, transport patients, and assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Circulate during surgeries, ensuring the operating room runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with surgical team members, including nurses, scrubs, and anesthesia staff, to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Follow all hospital protocols related to documentation, safety, and equipment usage.
• Maintain and prepare surgical instruments and supplies for daily procedures.

Required Qualifications
• Valid New York State (NY) Surgical Technologist license.
• BLS certification is required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience.
• Certification through NBSTSA.
• Experience working in a trauma level II or higher facility.
• Strong knowledge of general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, ENT, plastics, and neuro procedures.
• Ability to work floating shifts, including call and weekend hours as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel surgical tech experience.
• Familiarity with EPIC and other electronic documentation systems.
• Experience working with a variety of surgical specialties and complex cases.
