• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 or 4x12-hour shifts, contract position
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for obstetric patients in a busy Level III Obstetrical Unit
• Deliver prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care to patients
• Assist with patient assessments, monitoring fetal and maternal status, and managing labor progress
• Support patient education and newborn care in post-partum settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adapt to unit needs by floating between Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum units when necessary
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum care
• ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• BCLS certification required
• Current RN license or pending license accepted
• Ability to work nights, weekends (every other weekend expected), and flexible scheduling
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume OB units (400+ births in peak season)
• Ability to adapt quickly to a busy environment, with a focus on patient safety and quality care
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in Level III Obstetrical Units
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
• Flexibility to float across related units as needed
