Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technology duties across multiple areas such as cardiac and general surgery.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and proper instrument handling.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Adapt to various surgical specialties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and technical proficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical staff to ensure smooth procedure flow.

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification (CST credential).
• Prior open heart surgery experience.
• Ability to work in multiple surgical areas, including cardiac and general surgery.
• Must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months (applicable for permanent, per diem, or contract roles).
• Flu vaccine required prior to start (declinations not accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
