Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of surgical procedures for adult patients.
• Support surgical teams during various procedures including general, laparoscopic, and specialty surgeries such as mastectomy, hysterectomy, joint replacements, and appendectomy.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage patient care tasks as assigned within the operating room.
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment and tools.
• Document procedures and assist with post-operative care as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• BLS certification.
• Ability to assist with a range of adult surgical procedures.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in community hospital settings.
• Familiarity with both ambulatory and inpatient surgeries.
• Ability to support a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, gynecology, and general surgery.
