Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures.
- Prepare and maintain room and equipment for procedures.
- Instruct and monitor patients throughout procedures, providing routine and emergency care as needed.
- Contribute to team training and orientation efforts.
- Support quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in the related field.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Certification/license from one of the following: ARRT-R, MRT, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, CCDS, or similar credential recognized by relevant certifying bodies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience assisting in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology procedures.
- Familiarity with radiography, cardiac device management, or electrophysiology specialties.
