Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

• Dayton, Ohio
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract (13-week assignment), nights shift (17:00-05:30 or 19:00-07:30)
Key Responsibilities
• Providing high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Managing patient assessments, treatments, and documentation accurately in EPIC electronic health records
• Working every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
• Floating to various units or campuses as needed, supporting the overall nursing care team
• Responding to emergencies with clinical expertise and quick decision-making
Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License (must obtain prior to contract start)
• BSN or an Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ohio-specific licenses and certifications including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/Calm
• At least 1.5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience floating between units or campuses within a healthcare system
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical situations and environments
