Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patient populations
- Monitor and manage pain levels, ensuring effective pain control and treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and maintain accurate documentation
- Float to other medical-surgical units as needed to meet staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent orthopedic nursing experience
- Valid BLS and NIHP certifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Skilled in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Able to pass EKG testing prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Charge nurse experience
- Level I trauma experience
