Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status, utilizing electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies and neonatal emergencies.
- Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in labor and delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills, friendly and outgoing personality.
- Adaptability to fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
