Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and pediatric surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards, policies, and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with standards of care.
- Participate in department quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards.
- Float to other units as needed, adhering to unit-specific protocols and competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Must be vaccinated for flu.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital or acute care experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and holidays.
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to patient safety.
